A Magical Day for the Kids

The Magic Kingdom was the perfect place to meet up the rest of our massive crew. But first we had to get there.

All of these golf carts are part of our party... =)

Waiting for the boat

Once we were all together (for the most part), we rode the train to the new Toon Town. For us, I think since we go so often, meeting the characters is not a big deal... It's not something that we will wait a long time to do. But, there was only about a 5 minute wait to meet Goofy and Donald.

Next up was food. Stus melt fast and loud when hungry. Ask anyone who has travelled with us. One thing we haven't done at WDW is New Fantasyland. It has been too crowded. We wanted to wait until the novelty wore off a little. But the line to eat in Beast and Belle's castle was only 30 minutes. We opted for that. Three of the other families in our party wanted to eat there as well. The rest took off and rode rides like It's A Small World and Peter Pan.

I'm glad we ate at the castle. The food was yummy and the ambiance is incredible. It looks like you have literally stepped into the movie. We ate in the "scary room" or the West Wing. The West Wing dining room is small compared to the main dining room and it's pretty dark. But it is awesome. Beast's magic rose is there. C - one of the kids we were with - said that he wanted to get a rose like that for his mommy. I told him that was the sweetest thing ever.

After Dumbo, it was time to head back to the Campgrounds. So naturally we rode the train again.
