Halloween Weekend - Super Busy!

We had a TON going on this weekend. And for this entry, our weekend starts on Thursday.

After the school Halloween parade, Shane was asked to come back to Rea's class to speak to the munchkins about bike safety. He LOVED it! He said the kids were so cute, and they were really interested in what he had to say. I think he could've spoken Klingon and they would've had the same reaction... I mean, he is a uniformed police officer with a motorcycle and they are 3 and 4 years old. Just sayin'.

It was cute though...

Then we (finally) had a Thursday Night Dinner.
Ok, we eat dinner every Thursday. Well, every night if you want to be specific. But about 3 or so months ago we decided that we would have the M family over every Thursday night for dinner. I think we have only actually accomplished this once a month. Life has gotten in the way and prevented us from eating together. This week was wonderful... well worth the wait.

Friday night we celebrated Halloween with dinner at Grammie's. Rea and Grammie are VERY serious about their Halloween decorations. And Shane needed to see (at night) what they have spent a month creating.

If my sister had been here, she would have made this instead of buying it from Publix.

Mummy hotdogs

Deviled Eyeball Eggs

Dracula Bat Wings

Cheese & ham shaped like tombstones, ghosts & witches' hats

I realize that I took virtually no pictures of the decorations... take my word for it, they were awesome.

Saturday. Wow. Saturday was busy. Shane and I had a ton of frames to work on in the morning. Then we had a birthday party and Halloween party to go to.

Rea's friend's birthday party was amazing. It was a Candyland theme. To say they went all out is an understatement. The party was incredible.

Then our friends (M family) had a Halloween Open House party.
