A Blast from the Past

So Jack, I was going through old pics yesterday, and I found some fun stuff. I thought I would make you laugh with this entry.

Enjoy!

Chris, Steph & Sam... I can't believe how old all three of these guys are now!

2004 - The usual shot that dad takes of all of our backsides... thanks Dad.

Aawwww

I think this is Maine. We are all awesome.

Rea loves this one. I must be around 3 in this picture.

Preparing for my red carpet days. =)

This is TERRIBLE! I look at these pictures and think, "How did I have any friends at all?!"

Mom's blue mumu is pretty awesome. I think we have all seen this face: on me and Rea.

I was always the cool one.

This is one of the few Disney shots where we are not dressed in matching team member uniforms.

Tee hee

I can't believe Mom owned a couch like that!

Dad, when he had hair, on my birthday.

Jack has on blue eyeshadow - I did not punch her in the face.

Happy 5th birthday Jack!

Safety Patrol trip to DC

Speaks for itself.

Oy. - Amy thought I cut Andy out of this pic on purpose, but he is not on the original print.
On Thunder Mountain =)

Oh buddy

Holy-awesome-costumes-Batman!

Oh, the Mind of a Toddler

I think we watch Tangled probably 2 or 3 times a day. And have for at least the last month. At the very least, it is always in the DVD player in the car. Rea has fixated on Mother Gothel's death. She always asks why Gothel tries to kill Flinn and why she just vanishes when she goes out the window. And even though she hasn't seen Beauty and the Beast in at least 6 months, she talks about Gaston's much deserved shove off the castle and long plummet to his death. I don't know why my toddler has this stuff on the brain or why of all the great things in both of those movies the death is what she talks about.

Anyway.

Today we were in the car on the way home. This was one of the few times where the DVD was off and we had music playing.

Rea says, "Mom, you're not gonna kill Dad are you?"

I assume I heard her wrong and say, "Call Dad? Do you want me to call him?"

Rea: "No. Kill him. Like Mother Gothel tries to kill Flinn. You aren't going to kill him, are you?"

Me: "No. I am not going to kill your Daddy. I love your Daddy very much."

Rea: "You love him?"

Me: "Yes. Very much. Daddy is my true love."

Rea: "But boys are so gross and smelly."

Me: "Well, that is definitely true. Your Daddy is smelly and gross, but I still love him. You will understand it someday."

Rea: "Kind of like I love Ri. Ri is really gross and smelly, but I still love him."

Me: "Yup. Kind of just like that."

Then she turns to Ri and says, "Heeeeyyy Boo Boo. You are so cuuuute! I love you"

Steph's Birthday Safari & Stuff

So I got completely sidetracked by one of the busiest weeks ever, and I didn't put up any pictures from Steph's birthday weekend.

Well, she is seriously the luckiest girl EVER. How many people can say that their sisters took them on an African safari? I would bet not many. =)

The birthday girl at our usual photo spot.

Watch out for the camel! He spits!

Out of my way small child! I want the big horse!

Jack & her big horse

Steph upgraded horses after one turn on the carousel (so did I)

Oh hello Tigger & Pooh! Yeah, you can get your picture with us.

Ta-da

The TeaCups are a great idea!--- NOT!

Jack & I are ready to board our safari truck and explore all Africa has to offer. The trip there was really not that bad and took less time than you would think =)

The girls are ready to go!

Wow! Rhinos!

Hippos

More hippos

Went all the way to Africa to see crocs

Croc

This tree is not dead, it has no leaves in order to survive the harsh desert weather.

Perfect weather!

Haaa-raa-fey =)

I don't know what it is about them, but we really love giraffes.

2 big elephants and their baby (in the middle, behind the butts)

Elephants are awesome

OH MY!!!! A DUCK!!!! It is amazing!!!

Ostrich eggs

Some random animal's backside

We seem to have sprung a leak... careful Jack.
Needless to say, we had a blast! And we made it back safely.

Happy birthday Steph! I hope you had a wonderful time. Rea says she wants to go next time. I think its because she wants to see the ducks. Love you much!
